Scott has more than 30 years’ experience in the commercial flooring industry.

Today, he leads a team who specialise in commercial vinyl and Marmoleum, carpet tiles, vinyl planks and tiles, rubber flooring, waterproofing, and matting.

“I am excited about the future of Manchester Flooring Solutions,” Scott said. “Our workforce is growing quickly. As word about our quality work spreads throughout the industry, we continue to bid for and win a range of tenders.

“Manchester Flooring Solutions has completed a variety of projects, but I am really proud about the work we did for Multiplex at the Rockingham Hospital. We completed the job way ahead of schedule and within budget, and the client was very happy with the completed project.

“My family drive and motivate me every day. My late father taught me everything I know about this industry and about hard work – he would be really proud of everything we have achieved.”

Scott is a Member of a triathlon club and competes regularly. In 2018, he qualified for the World Championships in South Africa.

With over three decades of industry experience in Australia and the United Kingdom, John has honed his expertise specifically within the commercial construction and fit-out sectors. Over the last ten years, his innovative approaches to solving project challenges have consistently led to successful outcomes, even under tight deadlines.

John’s keen attention to detail ensures that each project he manages achieves a high-quality finish. His leadership skills and ability to drive project schedules have established him as a respected site manager in both Perth and the UK.

Having worked on multiple high-profile projects in premium CBD buildings, John excels in delivering projects that comply with stringent building guidelines. “At Manchester Flooring Solutions, I appreciate the opportunity to lead teams that share a commitment to excellence, quality, and ethical practices,” John stated. “It’s rewarding to see projects come to life, from the initial concept to the final touches.”

John is passionate about the construction industry and thrives on its challenges. “I’m thrilled to be part of a company that not only values but also actively promotes teamwork and integrity. It’s a privilege to contribute to our community by delivering projects that meet and exceed expectations.”

For seven years, Leigh-Ann worked in the oil and gas industry in Aberdeen, Scotland where her roles included Personal Assistant and Human Resources Assistant. Needing a change, she decided to study nursing and worked in private practice and plastic surgeon’s rooms for the next 20 years.

Today, Leigh-Ann is Manchester Flooring Solutions’ Office Manager and has been supporting the company for more than nine years, whilst raising her and Scott’s three children.

“I am passionate about working in the family business and helping it to grow,” said Leigh-Ann.

“I am proud of the work we do and the feedback we get from our clients is a testament to our commitment to providing quality flooring solutions to the commercial sector.”

Rhys works alongside John as a Project Manager at Manchester Flooring Solutions.

Still early into his career, Rhys is keen to learn as much as he can about the industry. He has a particular interest in ensuring effective coordination of trades people to achieve the best outcomes for clients and the business.

“I am extremely proud to be part of a truly professional team, both out in the field and in the office. Our team has a great rapport within the industry and am proud to be part of that culture and part of my family’s business,” Rhys said.

Rhys enjoys keeping fit and is a member of his local soccer team in Wembley Downs.

Karl has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to professional development, honing his analytical and technical skills throughout his expansive career in the Philippines and Australia. His dedication to learning and adapting within the dynamic construction industry has made him a proficient professional in construction estimation and project management.

Karl’s career began at Samotech Engineering Services, serving as Team Lead Estimator and Quantity Surveyor for Floorwise Pty Ltd in Perth from January 2017 to September 2022. In this role, he managed responsibilities ranging from preparing detailed bills of quantities for various flooring projects to coordinating meticulously with on-site project supervisors and installers, ensuring compliance with design specifications and timelines.

Since February 2023, Karl has been enhancing his expertise at the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Bohol 3rd District Engineering Office as an Engineering Assistant. He supervises projects and prepares critical documentation, applying his vast experience to benefit the Manchester Flooring Solutions team.
